University of Minnesota visits Dublin Port and the ABR project

As part of a summer school on Irish culture, a party of 18 students and their two faculty guides (Jimmy Schryver and Julie Erkerle) visited Dublin Port to meet with Lar Joye and Jim Kelleher of the Port’s Heritage and Communications office, and to see the archaeological discoveries being made as part of ADCO’s monitoring of the ABR works, on land and water. Niall Brady (pictured) and Dom Gallagher presented the findings on site. For most of the group, it was their first time to visit an active port behind the scenes.
