ADCO is expert in the survey and detailed planning of submerged features. We use a combination of State-of-the-Art Differential GPS units, Robotic Total stations, and underwater acoustic survey devices, coupled with traditional archaeological planning methods to generate highly detailed and metrically accurate site plans, elevations, and cross-sections. In addition, we offer digital terrain/seabed modelling and GIS solutions, and our personnel are trained in the use of 3D-measuring using the FARO Arm.
The data is presented in a series of project drawings, generated in AutoCAD to industry standard, that are capable of absorbing marine geophysical data and which can be integrated seamlessly into the wider development drawings as geo-referenced files. In tandem with our mapping expertise, archaeological illustration is also undertaken in-house to facilitate reporting and publication.
ADCO provides an unrivalled level of reporting, consistently exceeding the requirements and expectations of our customers. We are committed to full academic peer-review publication, while at the same time recognising the importance of the promotion of this information in more publicly accessible media. ADCO applies rigorous editing standards to ensure accurate, informed, readable text and illustration.
